EXCELLENT Based on 1055 reviews Posted on Oleksandr Dmytriiev2026-07-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had an absolute amazing experience with this company. I work for property management company and consistently use Vancouver appliance Service Pros when I have an issue Anytime I have a problem they send out a tech the next day for me and get the repair done or give me detailed description of what needs to be done and how they are gonna do it. Communication has been excellent and their online portal lets me see the progress of each repair and the parts are. They have made my life easier. Thank you so much for all your hard work!Posted on Ken Lum2026-07-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Leon was professional and provided an honest assessment weighing the cost of a wine fridge repair vs replacement. He took the time to suggest alternative wine fridge replacement models should I decide on this route. Much appreciated.Posted on Sandy Parkin2026-07-10Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Trevor was great, explained how to figure out and fix the issues I was having, and said if they still continue to give them another call and he would be glad to come back!Posted on Oliver S2026-07-10Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have never been satisfied with repair contractors in the past and I've always felt there was a lack of transparency and surprise costs that make me feel ripped off. That was not at all the case this time with Vancouver Appliance Service. They truly were transparent from my first call and I knew what I was going to spend for service and labour. The process from beginning to end was very well organized and their online portal for invoices, approvals and updates was very easy to follow and use.Posted on C R2026-07-10Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Leon was great, he answered all of our questions while he was inspecting our gas range. He was punctual and I would hire him again should the need arise!Posted on T Shaw2026-07-09Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was not my first time using this company for maintenance on my Blomberg dryer. I must say, the first experience a few years ago was horrible, so going into this appointment, I was skeptical about the service. The first technician, Alex, was a no-show. After much rescheduling, we ended up with Shabaz. He was polite and professional with his work, and I would recommend him in the future. For what it's worth, my advice for technicians booking a time frame with clients: If you know you're going to be late, a simple phone call is all it takes. We are all busy people and waiting for 2 hours to have a no-show, is really frustrating for all kinds of reasons. Fortunately, this company did the right thing to fix the situation, which is much appreciated! I will be using them again if needed in the future, and I hope Shabaz is still around at that time.Posted on Steven Biersteker2026-07-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kenmore Whirlpool electric stove repair in Vancouver, BC. The client called because one of their burners didn`t work. LG Washing Machine repair in downtown Vancouver, BC. A quick and easy drain pump replacement on a unit where the drain pump impeller broke due to many years of no maintenance. This should be a quick reminder that hair pins, coins, hair, and everything you don`t take out of your pockets when washing laundry can get stuck in the drain pump and damage it.
Jul 10

Jul 5
KitchenAid dishwasher repair in Maple Ridge, BC. In many cases when your dishwasher doesn`t drain it might not be anything to do with the pump. The client insisted we bring one out anyway. Sure enough - there was a piece of debris that blocked the drain hose where it connected to the sink. 15 minute repair, no pump replacement needed.
Jul 4
Kenmore gas oven repair in Vancouver, BC. The client called us because their oven wouldn`t heat. Thankfully it was just a glow bar. Perfect valves, perfect gas pressure, but an old glow bar won`t reliably open the gas valve. New glowbar in - everything`s back to working great.

Blomberg washing machine repair in Metrotown Burnaby, BC. Here we found a bad set of carbon brushes on the drive motor. Because the unit couldn`t tell the speed of the motor, it would fail going into the spin cycle. New brushes, happy motor, fixed washer.
Jul 2
Blomberg washing machine repair in Richmond, BC. The client`s washer wouldn`t go into spin. Blomberg washer motors use motor brushes which will wear out over time. That was the case here, and a quick $75 in parts + $250 in labour later their washer was back to life.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does appliance repair cost in Vancouver?
For appliance repair in Vancouver & any other municipality in the Lower Mainland (West Vancouver to Chilliwack), we charge a $250 flat-rate repair fee plus the cost of parts for standard brands and models. This includes the diagnostic, labour, and part installation. If you choose not to proceed with the repair, the diagnostic fee is $135, that’s it.
No matter the brand, or how complex the job might be, we believe in simple & transparent rates.
Do you offer same-day appliance repair?
Yes. We offer same-day and next-day appointments 7 days a week in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, including weekends and evenings.
Same & next-day appointments are offered for all appliances we fix including fridges, stoves, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers.
As part of our repair process, we always do our best to prioritize refrigerator & washing machine repair. After all, they’re key appliances in every household. A broken washer stops your laundry routine in it’s tracks, whereas a fridge gone down means your food is likely to spoil. Please note to our dispatchers if you need us to put a rush on the visit, and we’ll do our best to offer the soonest possible appointment.
About half of our customers are seen the same day they call. Call us at (604) 265-3852 or book online to check availability. Our dispatchers will offer a 2 hour window of availability and our technicians will see you as soon as possible.
Is it worth repairing my appliance or should I replace it?
It’s fair to want to know if it’s even worth calling an appliance repair place for your appliance. A good rule of thumb we always tell our customers is if the appliance is less than 10 years old and the repair cost is under half the price of a new appliance, repair is usually the better option.
But if the unit keeps having problems or is nearing the end of it’s lifespan – there may be other maintenance items on the horizon even after we repair it – so replacement may be the more cost-effective option. You get a new appliance, with 1-2 years of manufacturer warranty on it, and a few more years after that before real maintenance begins.
Our licensed technicians will always give you an honest recommendation after diagnosing the specific issue with your unit. We’ll never recommend a repair that doesn’t make financial or practical sense. So you can rely on us to get an accurate and honest picture of what’s going on, what it will cost to fix, and whether or not it’s worth fixing.
For example, if you have a fridge with leaking evaporator coils, the repair could range from $800 to $1,500 (as it is a complicated sealed system repair requiring specialized knowledge, training & equipment). So, at that point it may be worth considering a new fridge if your fridge isn’t super fancy or a replacement size-wise would run you close to $1,500-2,000. On the other hand, if you have an LG washing machine that has issues with the spin cycle, you’re probably looking at $250-500 depending on the parts involved. A new unit would run well over $1,000 – so it makes more sense to repair.
What brands do you repair?
We service all major brands including Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, Bosch, Maytag, KitchenAid, Frigidaire, Electrolux, Miele, Fisher & Paykel, and many more. We’re also factory-authorized warranty service providers for Frigidaire, Electrolux, Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau, Blomberg, Beko, Sharp, Danby, and other manufacturers.
All in all, we do appliance repairs for over 35 different brands. And you can see the whole list on our Brands page.
The best part? Where many companies charge different prices for premium-class brands like Sub Zero, Gaggenau, Wolf and others – our pricing is flat rate ($250 + parts) – whether you have a Kenmore washer or a Sub Zero fridge, we charge one simple and transparent price. That’s it!
Do you use genuine OEM parts?
Yes. We only install genuine replacement parts sourced straight from the manufacturer – never aftermarket alternatives.
Here at Vancouver Appliance Service Pros, we have very deep relationships with manufacturers and do warranty service for many of them. This allows us to have all of the up-to-date parts lists and information that many other companies do not, as well as exclusive pricing on many replacement parts that we pass on to our customers.
What areas of Vancouver do you serve?
We serve all of Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, including Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, New Westminster, Delta, Surrey, Langley, Maple Ridge, Mission, Abbotsford & Chilliwack. We’re based on Oak Street in Vancouver and have technicians on the road every day across the region.
Is There Any Warranty Or Guarantee On Repairs?
Yes. We offer a 6-month warranty on all repairs.
Most reputable companies offer a warranty on parts and labour. While others tend to offer 90 days on average – we’re so confident in the quality of our work that we offer a 6 month warranty guarantee, no questions asked.
If something we repaired gives you any kind of trouble during the warranty period, we’ll be happy to come back out and take a look at it – at no additional cost to you.
The only exceptions are cases of misuse, new unrelated issues (we will still diagnose it free of charge), and very rarely one-time services such as installing your own parts that we did not source from the manufacturer ourselves.
Otherwise, you’re totally covered for 6 months. This is a whole 3 months more than most other appliance repair companies in Vancouver offer on repairs. This is because our technicians are highly accredited, trained by the manufacturers, and we’re just that confident in the work we do for our customers.
What does the $135 diagnostic fee include?
The diagnostic fee of $135 includes a full and thorough diagnostic inspection by one of our licensed technicians, a clear explanation of what the problem is and a written detailed quote for the repair. This fee is flat-rate, which means that whether it takes us 15 minutes, or 2 hours to diagnose the unit fully – you only pay one simple price. The average diagnostic takes 30-45 minutes in our experience.
If you decide to not go through with the repair quote, you only pay the $135 diagnostic and that’s it.
What Are The Most Common Appliance Problems You Encounter?
While we’ve been around since 2012, most of our technicians have decades of experience in the appliance repair field.
Here are some of the most common appliance issues we’ve seen over the years:
Electric ovens and stoves often suffer from failed heating elements, broken burners & spark modules that won’t spark.
Dirty condenser coils, damaged gaskets, overloading and more rarely faulty thermostats are the top causes of poor cooling in refrigerators.
Blocked vents are a major issue in older buildings (and surprisingly newer condos), particularly causing dryers to have no heat or long drying times. In many new condos, strata will pick the cheapest contractor who may not do the vent cleaning properly. A good idea is to get your own vent cleaning company to go over their work yearly.
Common issues with washers include not draining water, leaking, and moldy door gaskets.
Common issues with dryers include not heating, not starting, and drum not spinning.
Common issues with dishwashers include leaking, strange sounds from the drain pump, and poor cleaning performance.
Common issues with ovens include taking a long time to reach temperature, uneven heating, and elements not turning on.
There are a plethora more, and if you’d like to see the most common issues we fix for each type of appliance, please head over to our Services Page and click on the specific appliance that interests you to get a detailed list.
